Archery 101
An aftermath of watching "The Hunger Games" and "Avengers" :)
Impressed by Katniss Everdeen's signature pose in her latest blockbuster movie "The Hunger Games" - bow flexed with string upon her face and arrow aiming a goal.
Followed by the shooting while jumping out of the building stunt of Hawkeye, in the latest craze "Avengers", we found ourselves at Gandiva Archery trying out how it felt to actually shoot using bow and arrow.
With our one hour session, we learned the basics of Archery in terms of proper stance, arrow nock, hook string, bowhand position, drawing and anchoring the bow, aiming a target and releasing the arrow using a recurve bow :) Thanks to our accommodating instructors Nick and Roy.
