Conclusion
|
Romans
8 speaks about the results of salvation, where there is no
condemnation having future glory and Spirit filled life for those who
believed in Jesus Christ. The ultimate result is complete and
perfect! Hence it leads us to the rousing climax of Lord's salvation
for us. Romans 8:31-39, presents seven questions that strengthens his
promise that we are more than conquerors through Christ who loved us.
Let's examine each verse:
In these seven questions, Apostle Paul poses three answers:
v33
- It
is God who justifies.
v34
- Christ
Jesus who died—more
than that, who was raised to life—is
at the right hand of God and
is also interceding for us.
V39
– (Nothing) will
be able to separate us from the love of God that
is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
While
there are man-made or natural disasters like trouble
or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword
as mentioned in verse 35, all these will not be able to separate us
from the love of Christ. Even the limitations or authorities listed
in verse 38-39 like death or life, angels or demons, the present
or the future, any powers, height
or depth, or anything else in all creation – absolutely nothing can
separate us from God's love in Christ Jesus.
In
summation, as believers of Christ – God loves you and justifies
you; Christ loves you and intercedes for you and finally you will
never be separated from Christ.
Hence,
this amazing activity of God can lead us to realize that we have the
reassuring conclusion to Lord's salvation for us.
