Dear Future Spartan

Today, you may be disappointed for not making it in the race.
That's fine, as long as you don't surrender your dream of someday crossing that #Spartan finish line.

You may wonder how it feels to conquer the obstacle stations you trained for,  even if it means making 30 burpees.
Still cool, it only means you should continue to push yourself harder.

You may have missed the Spartan spirit, being with courageous people who get dirty playing in the mud because of the rainy weather.
Remember those faces, their grit, resilience and passion for challenge and self-improvement.

While others celebrates completing the obstacles they thought they cannot pull off.
You are excited being able to walk straight without limping your right foot.
Go ahead! Celebrate your modest breakthroughs.

If you find blaming yourself for being careless in putting yourself in an injury that restricted you from training and eventually deferring from the course.
Forgive! When you look back, those bruises will be a reminders that not all delays equate defeats.

An in any case that regrets make an appointment with you.
Look him in the eye and tell him, "I will see you in the next Spartan Race!"
Aroo! Aroo! Aroo!

Sincerely,
