Leyte: Sto. Nino Shrine and Heritage Museum

Our 2nd stop in our Leyte tour - Romualdez Museum also known as Sto. Nino Shrine and Heritage Museum.

After settling our fees, we were requested to remove our footwear and use these colorful slippers in red, blue and green upon entrance to the shrine for the duration of the tour.

The ground floor consists of a chapel dedicated to Sto. Nino and 13 themed guest rooms, each room unique and exceptional as it exhibit different places in our country.

During the tour we were captivated by the splendor and luxury of the entire house from the grandiose ballroom, majestic living rooms, enormous dining areas, floorings, walls, furnitures, chandeliers, antiques, paintings, ceramics, dioramas and even the smallest ornament display.
